MEET TEAM SAYLESS

We’re 12 Advocate runners representing Dallas, TX and Sayless at The Speed Project LALV, a nonstop relay from LA to Las Vegas.

We’re taking on 340+ miles to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention through storytelling and action. Our fundraising goal is $2,000 per Advocate runner, and every donation helps fuel the mission and keep this team moving safely and with purpose. For Those Who Keep Going.

  • Kara is running TSP in memory of her friend Emily, and for those who are tired of accepting the status quo.

  • Drew is running TSP for anyone who feels lost, and for those who need to know they are not alone.

  • Brent is running TSP in memory of his dad, who passed in 2025 after a long battle with substance abuse, and for those who feel like there is no way out.

  • Taylor is running TSP for his mother-in-law Susan Seidel, and for those who are fighting silent battles.

  • Haley is running TSP for survivors of domestic violence, and for the women harmed in spaces that were supposed to be safe.

  • Angelle is running TSP in dedication to restored health, and for those who cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel yet.

  • Michael is running TSP for himself as a reminder to keep going, and for those who want to do more than they thought was originally possible.

  • DB is running TSP with purpose over words, and for those who feel unseen, struggle in silence, and need a reminder that life matters.

  • Alejandro is running TSP for his daughter, and for those who cannot anymore.

  • Farrell is running TSP for the ones who say “I couldn’t do that,” and for anyone who needs proof that small wins add up.

  • Sarah is running TSP in part for herself, and for anyone searching for steady ground and a place to find their feet again, in running and beyond.

  • Vincent is running TSP for these 11 humans and the community behind the art of doing something about it.
