ADVOCATE RUNNERS
WHO THEY ARE
Advocate Runners are people who use running to support a bigger purpose. This includes those who dedicate their own races, from marathons to ultras and beyond, to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. No matter where they run, they help bring our mission to life by using their miles to inspire action, share stories, and remind people they are not alone.
WHY “ADVOCATE RUNNERS”
At Sayless Projects, we believe in the art of doing something about it. An advocate isn’t just someone who believes in a cause—they take action. Our Advocate Runners don’t just run; they raise awareness, spark conversations, and push for change. Their commitment embodies our mission: to inspire action and possibility through shared stories.
Advocate Runners prove that one person’s effort can create a lasting impact. They take the miles ahead and turn them into something meaningful by showing that even in the loneliest moments, we are all in this together.
Run with purpose. Advocate for change.
What They Do:
• Run with Purpose: They dedicate their run or race to those affected by mental health challenges, carrying the cause with them every step of the way.
• Raise Awareness: Through personal storytelling, race-day dedications, and community engagement, they bring visibility to the conversation around mental health.
• Fundraise for Impact: They use their race to drive donations, directly supporting Sayless Projects’ mission in helping fund our annual relay run, storytelling, community events, mental health resources, and other initiatives.
