DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT
FERMIN LOPEZ
I’m running for the people who no longer can and for the ones still carrying more than they let the world see.
I’m part of this year’s Dallas to Austin relay because I want to be part of something bigger than any one person. This run is a chance for me to move with purpose and carry something that matters beyond myself.
Mental health is the very reason I chose to run. Life is hard, and I know what it feels like to carry a lot internally while still trying to keep moving. Running has helped me process that weight, and community has reminded me that I do not have to do it alone. I’m running for the people who are hurting, for the ones hiding what they carry, and for those who no longer can fight for themselves.
If you believe in showing up for people and supporting something bigger than ourselves, I’d be honored to have your support.
